The standard home package — 400-litre terrazzo shell, 1.5 PK chiller, insulated lid and step — is Rp 52-64 million installed in Java and Bali. The cheapest route, a portable shell with a 1 PK chiller, starts at Rp 24 million. Component-level detail is on the pricing page.

Both happen regularly. Highland clients in Batu, Lembang and Berastagi often start with a shell alone because the tap water is already 17-21 degrees. If you bring your own tub we measure it and calculate the load first — an uninsulated tub can need a chiller twice the size.

A 400-litre tub full of water weighs about 780 kg over less than 1.5 square metres. On existing terrace tiles that is usually fine. On soil, paving or an old timber deck we ask for a 100 mm reinforced pad. A rooftop needs a structural check by your side.

Yes, with three conditions: the shell fits the service lift (under 2.1 m standing, or ordered modular), the balcony can carry the load, and building management allows the condenser on the service balcony. We have done more than a dozen in central and south Jakarta.

Imported units run 52-58 dB at one metre, similar to a mid-size split air conditioner. The Arctic inverter line stays under 48 dB while holding temperature. Neither should sit directly against a bedroom wall.

Six metres on standard insulated hose. Further is possible but every extra metre adds heat gain, so we increase the hose diameter. Beyond twelve metres we would rather move the unit.

From 29 to 5 degrees, about eight hours on a 400-litre tub with a 1.5 PK chiller and the lid on. We normally run the first fill overnight. After that the chiller is only holding, and consumption drops to about 4.9 kWh a day.

Four to eight weeks with a cartridge filter and ozone, for one or two people a day. Three days without filtration. Cold water slows bacteria down; it does not stop them.

A low chlorine dose at most, or better, ozone plus UV. Pool-strength chlorine stings at 3 degrees because the skin is constricted and the contact time is long.

Once filtered. We fit a 50-micron pre-filter and an ion-exchange medium on the inlet. This is mandatory in Sidoarjo, Pekanbaru, Samarinda and other cities with peat or brackish water — without it, scale and sediment wreck the evaporator inside a year.

Rinse the cartridge every two weeks, clean the condenser fins every three months on the coast or six inland, check pH monthly. About twenty minutes a month in total. Details under maintenance.

Beginners start at 12-15 degrees for a minute and work down over several weeks. The common daily range is 3-6 degrees for two to four minutes. We will set your tub anywhere between 2 and 20 degrees.

For a healthy adult the risk is low if the duration is sensible and you do not get in alone the first time. For anyone with heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, epilepsy, or during pregnancy, ask a doctor first. We are builders, not clinicians, and we will not pretend otherwise.

We suggest sixteen and over, always supervised, and never below 10 degrees. A shallower shell with a wide entry step, such as an outdoor cold plunge, makes supervision easier than a deep tub.

In crates we build ourselves, by container through Surabaya or Jakarta, with the technician flying to meet the schedule so the installation finishes in one visit. Detail under inter-island delivery.

Entirely our responsibility until the tub is standing and cold at your site. Every crate is photographed before and after, and all shipments are insured.

For distant shipments we include a year of consumables in the same crate: relay, capacitor, temperature sensor, filter cartridges. Nine faults in ten can be cleared by a local electrician with a video call. For the tenth we ship a replacement unit and collect the faulty one.
