Logged, dosed, duty and standby
A home tub is used by two people whose names the owner knows. A commercial tub is used by thirty strangers, and the operator has to be able to prove the water was safe — with dated numbers, not with confidence.

Every person who gets in brings about half a gram of organic material — sweat, skin oil, the remains of sunscreen — and leaves most of it behind. In a home tub with two users, a 20-micron cartridge and ozone handle that for four to eight weeks. At thirty users the daily organic load is twenty times higher and ozone alone cannot keep up. So a commercial tub is designed around four turnovers an hour, meaning all 1,300 litres pass through filtration and ozone every fifteen minutes, with automatic dosing holding the disinfectant in a fixed band without waiting for a staff member to notice.
The controller records water temperature, pH and ORP every fifteen minutes and keeps twenty-four months of it, downloadable as a spreadsheet. There are three entirely practical reasons. When a member complains the water was not cold on Saturday afternoon, you can open the record and see the actual number. When the group is audited or an insurer asks for evidence of procedure, a dated record is the only answer anyone accepts. And patterns in the log reveal faults before they become failures: a compressor starting to weaken shows up as recovery time stretching from twelve minutes to twenty, weeks before it stops.

Two units alternating weekly are more than a spare. A compressor working half the time lasts far longer, and annual maintenance cost falls even though the initial spend rises by about Rp 105 million for the second unit. We train two of your staff for half a day at handover and leave a printed daily sheet that goes on the plant-room wall. Nine water problems in ten at a commercial tub start with that sheet being left blank for a fortnight, not with equipment failing. Ongoing cover is described under maintenance and service.
The biggest problem at six in the evening is not the water temperature, it is the floor. Thirty people leaving cold water carry about a litre and a half onto the tiles each session, and ordinary ceramic in a recovery bay is slippery within ten minutes. We lay textured rubber flooring with a 100-millimetre linear drain on the exit side, a 1.5 per cent fall, and wet towel storage kept separate from clean towels but still within arm's reach of the rim.
We install the equipment, log the numbers and train the staff. Local health permits, insurance obligations and your own house rules stay with the operator, and requirements differ from city to city. We also give no medical advice: who may and may not use the tub is a policy to write with your own health professional, not with a workshop. If the tub will see more than sixty people a day, one 1,300-litre unit is not enough and we will propose two — which is a conversation that belongs under custom wellness areas.
Commercial tubs run Rp 172-325 million depending on body, seat count and chiller arrangement. That covers automatic sanitation, logging, plant-room pipework, staff training and two service visits in the first year. Build time is 21 to 28 working days for Java and Bali, because the control panel is assembled and tested in Cikarang first. For other islands, freight and technician travel are itemised under inter-island delivery.
Six consecutive users in an hour raise a 1,300-litre tub by about 1.1 degrees. A 4 HP unit pulls that back in 22 to 28 minutes. With a standby unit cutting in during high load, it is under 15 minutes.
Strongly recommended. Pump, filter, dosing controller and panel need about 1.8 square metres with ventilation; the chiller can be outside. Where there is no room, we build everything into a lockable stainless cabinet 1.6 metres high beside the tub.
Electricity is about Rp 507,000 on a domestic tariff and more on a business one, chemicals and cartridges Rp 350,000 to 600,000, plus a service contract if taken. The monthly drain uses about 1,300 litres of water.
Yes. The noisy work — chasing drainage and mounting the panel — is scheduled outside trading hours, usually 22:00 to 05:00. That adds about 12 per cent to installation cost and it appears in the quotation, not afterwards.
